This is the first of many ways we plan on growing the community. Stay tuned for giveaways, swag, daily trivia, and more!

1.) E-Z Money — The BIG Story

There’s a billionaire dick-measuring competition happening right now. Jeff Bezos, Sir Richard Branson, and likely Elon Musk are all competing to venture outside of Earth’s atmosphere. Branson will be the first with a test flight on July 11th. The Virgin Group founder believes there’s enough room for 20 space tourism companies. But to savages like us, it looks like an epic short opportunity (Ape translation = Bet stock falls). If Branson explodes, this stock may go to zero.

2.) “To the Moon” — Retail Investing

June was an awesome month for meme stocks. The top three $AMC, $CLOV, and $WISH grew 79%, 72%, & 70% respectively. Clean Energy Fuels ($CLNE) and Blackberry ($BBY) rounded out the top 5 with 26% and 5% growth, although Blackberry was up as much as 37% earlier in the month.

3.) “The Cypher” — Crypto Investing

Switzerland’s largest bank UBS is warning investors to “stay clear” of cryptocurrencies and “build their portfolios around less risky assets.” This is happening as Bitcoin surged and then fell over the holiday weekend. The last quarter (April, May, & June for the Apes) saw the second-worst Bitcoin performance dating back to 2010 with the cryptocurrency dropping -42%.

4.) “Straight Cash” — Sports Betting

It’s an epic week for sports and that means a lot of opportunities to make bets! On Monday, the Montreal Canadiens avoided a Stanley Cup Final sweep with an OT victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning, setting up Game 5 Wednesday night. The rest of the week includes the start of the NBA Finals, “The Match IV”, Wimbledon, UFC 264, and the Euro 2020 Semis and Final. At CapGainz, L likes the Bucks in 6 and J has the Suns in 7, Phil Mickelson & Tom Brady over Bryson DeChambeau & Aaron Rodgers, Novak Djokovic to win it all, McGregor as an underdog over Poirier, Italy over Spain, England over Denmark, and Italy over England to win it all.

5.) “The Alternatives” — NFTs, ESGs, & More!

Speaking of Wimbledon, an NFT representing the moment Andy Murray won the tournament in 2013 sold for $177,777 at auction on Monday. The Scottish tennis star is a big believer in NFTs, announcing last month that a series of blockchain-based collectibles would be hosted on a platform called WENEW.

BONUS: Fun Sh*t!!

Take a look at this sh*t. In truly one of the most apocalyptic videos ever caught on tape, the sea in the Gulf of Mexico was literally on fire over the weekend. The fire, which burned west of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, was extinguished hours later.
